Aindrias Ó Caoimh (born 1950) is an Irish Judge of the European Court of Justice and
immediately prior to this was a Judge of the High Court from 1999 to 2004.
Judge Caoimh is particularly qualified for arbitrations, by reason of his previous professional
experience as a Judge at the European Court of Justice for eleven years and five
years on the High Court in Ireland as well as 27 years in practice at the Irish Bar,
his expertise in arbitration includes disputes relating to European Union law and
various commercial disputes
Judge Aindrias OCaoimh,was educated at University College Dublin and the King’s Inns. He was called to the Bar in
1972 and became a Senior Counsel in 1994. He was a lecturer in European Law at the King’s Inns.
